In order to meet future communication system’s requirements about high-speed data transmission rate requirements, the 3GPP launchs research of LTE. The techniques are regarded as "quasi 4G" by the industry, whose core technique is OFDM/FDMA. The air interface in LTE system uses orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDM/ FDMA) replaced the 3GPP long-term use of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) as a multiple access technology and uses multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology, and adaptive technology to get higher data rates and system performance.At present, how to manage and utilize scarce radio resource has become one of the most concerned issues, with the growth of mobile and internet users and the increasing of demand of QoS guarantee. Radio Resource Management(RRM), which has been brought forward as a key technology, is an important performance index to weigh the feasibility of a standard and whether it can be accepted by operators or not. Mobility management is the key technology of wireless resource management, so this paper is to focus on research and implementation mobility management.This paper summarizes the key technology of LTE system, detaily introduces mobility management algorithm of LTE system, designs and realizes mobility management algorithm of LTE system under the intr-frequency system. By TD-LTE dynamic simulation platform arithmetic performance is obtained under different parameters Settings.In the past references the research about mobility management is always simple or it only focuses on the handover behavior. This paper studys and analyzes the mobility management algorithm containing cell selection, cell re-selection and cell handover. What’s more, the research about mobility management is based on the TD-LTE dynamic simulation platform, so the research will be more realistic significance.
