Design And Implementation Of Non-Real-Time Services Processing In TD-LTE Dynamic System-Level Simulation

The rapid development of personal communication techniques and markets leads to the fact that the demand of data service, such as multimedia message, on-line game, music download and mobile TV, will soon go beyond the ability provided by the wireless network today.Compared with WIFI and WiMAX, the network structure and access protocols of WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA are too complex although they have advantages in mobility and QoS aspects, which makes them fall behind in aspects of wireless spectrum efficiency and transmission delay.This dissertation is aimed to design and implement the non-real-time services processing for TD-LTE, including traffic generation, data processing on TCP layer, PDCP layer, RLC layer and handoff procedure and so on.QoS parameters such as packet delay are recorded in this subsystem.Firstly, The paper briefly reviews the development of mobile communications, and did a brief overview of the LTE system; Secondly, it introduces system structure and some key technologies in the LTE system, including the frame structure for LTE system, physical technology such as the SC-FDMA technology, MIMO technologies, HARQ technology, Link Adaptation,also introduces some of the radio resource management; Thirdly, it introduces the LTE dynamic simulation platform in detail, including the main simulation flow and the various functional modules; And then, this paper highlights some procedures related to non-real-time services processing, including algorithms and procedures of traffic generation, TCP layer processing, PDCP layer processing, RLC layer processing and so on. In the chapter 5, we mainly discuss how to make the abstract models and algorithms in chapter 4 more detailed and operable, and more detailed and operable solutions are presented in this chapter. In the sixth chapter, it sums up the whole research work and gives some work prospects.
