It’s been nearly10years after LTE was first put forward, and LTE standardization is nearly complete by now. More and more mobile equipment manufacturers begin to develop LTE products. Terminal test instruments play an important role in the quality control of the terminal, and are indispensable in the development of LTE industry chain. This thesis is based on a TD-LTE terminal protocol conformance platform, and its main work is to develop the major functionality of PDCP entity based on protocol.The main contents of this paper can be divided into the following sections:In the first chapter, significance of protocol conformance testing is introduced. Based on that, the thesis introduces the meaning of the work in this paper and the detailed work.In the second chapter, this paper introduces the hardware and software architecture of TD-LTE system simulation platform.In the third chapter, implementation of data transfer in PDCP was studied. Detailed analysis is made about data transfer mechanism of DRB and SRB, and the mechanism is implemented; Then overall data transfer architecture is introduced, normal mode and test mode are analyzed, and two function modules (receive window and PDU parsing) are designed and implemented. After that, some verification tests of overall modules (based on TS36.523) are carried out.In the fourth chapter, research is made about PDPP security mechanism. Detailed description of security mechanism procedure and the principle of two encryption algorithms PDCP protocol are made. And implementation is given for both two algorithms. Finally, relevant test cases based on TS36.523are carried out to verify the encryption process and the integrity of the process.Results in this thesis have been successfully implemented in the TD-LTE Protocol Testing Platform and are verified through joint debugging with several terminas.
