| The purpose of this study is to explore the association between GLUT1 gene polymorphism and the effects of HiHiLo(Living high-Exercise high-Training low) training protocol through SNP/A-2841T,G22999T and A16254G polymorphisms,to find the effective parameters for predicting the effects of HiHiLo training and to provide molecular markers for establishing differential HiHiLo training prescription for different athletes.Methods:The Association-Study was used to explore the molecular markers for physiological phenotypes,such as V02max,SpO2,muscle oxygen content (NIRS),the parameters of structure and function of left ventricle(EDD, ESD,LVM,SV,EF,CO etc.) at baseline and in response to HiHiLo training. Seventy-two health subjects underwent four-week HiHilo training protocol. The genotypes of three polymorphisms were analyzed by PCR-RFLP.Results:(1) TT group of SNP/A-2841T in GLUT1 gene had an higher tendency in SpO2 at rest during quantitative exercise compared with AA and AT groups after HiHiLo training(P<0.10);(2)SNP/A-2841T was associated with muscle oxygen content at baseline,SNP/A-2841T was associated with the HiHiLo training response of muscle oxygen content,as TT group had higher levels of muscle oxygen content at recovery state of quantitative exercise after HiHiLo training than the AA and AT groups;(3) SNP/A-2841T was associated with the HiHiLo training response of FS,as TT group had higher levels of FS after HiHiLo training than the AA and AT groups; SNP/A-2841T was associated with 50W/EDT at baseline,TT>AA>AT. SNP/A-2841T was associated with the HiHiLo training response of the parameters of left ventricle function such as 50W/â–³ETã€Re/â–³ESVã€50W/â–³EDTå’ŒRe/â–³EDT,as TT group had higher levels of these parameters during graded exercise after HiHiLo training than the AA and AT groups; SNP/G22999T was associated with 50W/ESV,100W/ESV,150W/ESV at baseline, T allele carriers had lower levels of these parameters than G allele carriers.SNP/G22999T was associated with the HiHiLo training response of the parameters of left ventricle function such as 100W/αESV, 50W/αEDT and 100W/αEDT,as T had higher levels of these parameters during graded exercise after HiHiLo training than G allele carriers.Conclusion:(1) GLUT1 gene SNP/A-2841T can be used as a molecular marker in forecasting the effects of HiHiLo on muscle oxygen content;(2) SNP/A-2841T can be used as a molecular marker in forecasting the effects of HiHiLo on left ventricular structure;(3) SNP/A-2841T and G22999T can be used as molecular markers in forecasting the effects of HiHiLo on left ventricular function;(4) SNP/A16254G can not be used as a molecular marker in forecasting the effects of HiHiLo. |
