Junior and senior school teaching is obviously different from each other. The phenomenon is longstanding. What’s more, the high school new curriculum reform is out-of-step, which lead to the connection problems of high school physics teaching more obviously. A line of teachers and education researchers have paid more attention to the problems. Linkage teaching is an important field of education research constantly. The paper aims at researching physics teaching from junior high school to senior high school in Urumqi Municipality, which based on related education theory and teaching research.The research methods are: literature research, comparative analysis, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method.The main part of this article can be divided into five parts.The first part, the paper uses meta-cognitive theory, Piaget’s cognitive development theory, humanism theory and constructive learning theory as the basis of linkage teaching theory to lay the theoretical foundation and scientific guidance. Moreover, it also proposes the heavy course standard principle, the principle of gradual and the principle of meta-cognitive ability training of linkage physics teaching.The second part, the paper relatively analyzes the course standards from nature, idea, target and content standards. It find out their differences and connections. Meanwhile, it also relatively analyzes the PEP physical materials of high school to find out the linkage situation in teaching materials.The third part, the paper analyzes Urumqi city high school physics teaching by the various multidimensional questionnaire survey. The survey includes senior one students’ physics learning situation investigation and analysis, senior one students’ physical meta-cognitive level and the investigation and analysis of the relation between physical grades, Urumqi high schools physics teacher teaching basic situation and cohesion consciousness research and analysis. So that the paper can comprehensive grasp the physical linking teaching situation in Urumqi.The fourth part, the paper explores relieving the high school physics teaching strategy problems from the teaching content, students and teachers, which are based on survey and analysis. Such as, the teaching content of strategies contains high schools all have content strategies and new knowledge of cohesion; the paper puts forward the psychological transition to connect, form the personalized learning methods and cultivating meta-cognition ability strategies to students; Teachers should fully understand the situation of the high school physics teaching and learning, the linking situation between teaching contents; Research teaching method speeds up transformation of students’ thinking.The fifth part, the paper lists practical exploration of linking teaching, taking the design and the use of the learning case as examples. At last, the paper gives out the conclusion and the shortcomings of the research.
