Based on the data tested in heart rate and energy consumption before and after college students’ fitness running, find the characteristics of heart rate and energy consumption during college students’ fitness running, and finally combined with the fitness running characteristics, to put forward a scheme of fitness running for college students. In this study, heart rate telemetering equipment(Polar Suunto)and Energy meter(Livepod LP2) were used to test 140 non-professional sports students’ heart rate and energy consumption during fitness running. This paper used SPSS20.0 software to statistical analysis heart rate and energy consumption characteristics of different gender, BMI level and sex, to establish a linear regression equation of heart rate and energy consumption.Conclusions:(1) The heart rate during fitness running among college students was mainly in range of 141-160 b/min, and male is slightly higher than female.(2) Comparison of sex: There was a highly significant difference between male and female in resting heart rate(RHR)(P<0.01). After performing the test, the results show that the average heart rate of male(151.10 b/min) was significant higher than female(145.06 beats/min), and the average energy consumption of male(11.18 kcal/min) was also significant higher than female(9.63 kcal/min)(P<0.05).(3) The higher BMI value is accompanied by higher heart rate, higher energy consumption and lower speed during fitness running. Comparison of different BMI levels: Among severe obesity group, mild or moderate obesity group and normal weight group, there were a highly significant difference in average heart rate(P<0.05), and were no significant difference in average energy consumption and subjective fatigue.. Statistical analysis results showed that subjective fatigue value was advanced with the growth of BIM, but it has not significant difference.(4) With increasing of grade, students’ mean heart rate, mean speed and mean energy consumption were decreased. Comparison of different grades: In mean heart rate aspect, freshman and sophomore showed higher than junior and senior. In mean energy consumption aspect, freshman showed significant higher than junior and senior among male(P<0.05), but it has no significant difference with sophomore. In subjective fatigue value aspect, freshman and sophomore showed higher than junior and senior, and there were no significant difference between male and female(P>0.05)(5) Heart rate and mean energy consumption during fitness running increased with increasing running speed. The mean of speed between male and female were(2.25±0.32) m/s and(1.92±0.21)m/s, and which had significant difference(P>0.05).(6) The linear regression equation of heart rate and energy consumption was:(?)where x is the heart rate(b/min), y is the energy consumption(kcal/min).The analysis of exercise effect on heart rate indicated that synthesis of motion effects is more better by keeping heart rate greater more than 100(b / min) during fitness running than lower than 100(b/ min).(7) Finally, a scheme of fitness running for college students, combined with the fitness running characteristics, has put forward, in which jogging(8km/h) needed three times a week and at least 35min/per was recommended and medium speed running(10km/h) needed three times a week and at least 39 min/per was recommended.
