This paper from the boundary theory, the perspective of rural teachers’ work family balance system through a review of the related research both at home and abroad and, combined with the characteristics of teachers in rural areas, suitable for the development of measurement of rural teachers’ work family balance tool, based on research in areas such as education division in the psychosocial work environment mechanism of work family balance, after a series of empirical research, the main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) the establishment of rural teachers’ work family balance questionnaire. Through exploratory factor analysis of the questionnaire consists of three dimensions, that is, in the time of equilibrium, perform duties balance, psychological balance, in which time and psychological balance consists of four items perform balance of responsibilities by eight components, then verification factor analysis results showed that the questionnaire idea dimension is reasonable, further analysis of the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, the measurement performance of duties balance, equilibrium time, psychological balance Cronbach’s alpha respectively: 0.868, 0.907, 0.820 and total questionnaire Cronbach’s alpha is 0.835, moreover each dimension and calibration validity correlation. The questionnaire can be as a tool for measurement of rural teachers’ work family balance.(2) the basic situation of rural teachers’ work family balance. Application of the questionnaire of teachers in rural areas were measured. The results show that rural teachers’ work family balance in good condition, in gender, age, with or without children, school types, working years showed significant difference. Thus, according to these indicators can better promote rural teachers’ work family balance.(3) rural teachers’ psychological work environment and work family balance. This study confirmed that most of the rural teachers’ psychological work environment is in good condition, and some indicators of mental work environment can predict the balance of work and family.The conclusion of this study has practical application value for the development of rural teachers’ psychological work environment and work family balance.
