The new curriculum reform has been implemented since 2001, teaching methods and teaching philosophy constantly upgrade innovation,“process and method” goal of the Ministry of Education in 2003 proposed also caused the majority of educational researchers and teachers concerned, this goal design and implementation of specific objectives to promote the reform and transformation of the classroom. In this paper, as background for the study, view on the basis of practice, view of teaching and educational psychology theory foundation, using the method of literature research, questionnaire survey method, case analysis method, observation method, practice and research method and so on a variety of scientific methods of geography process and method goal implementation approaches are studied.In this paper, the theoretical basis of the "process and method" is set up based on the theory of "Marx’s view of practice", "Dewey’s activity teaching concept" and a series of educational psychology theories.Through the literature research of "process" and "approach" is the connotation of the deep level of interpretation, requires three levels of geography curriculum standard "process and method" target, the relationship between the function and the three dimensional goals for in-depth exploration. The union questionnaire survey in Guizhou Province college entrance examination to change the volume of the area teachers, understand the teacher’s comprehension of the connotation of "process and method" target, pay attention to the extent and the goal in the teaching implementation, the author analyzes the problems existing in the implementation of the target. Subsequent to first-line high school geography teacher’s teaching examples as a case analysis of the implementation of its goal of in geography teaching "process and method", designed by the author’s own teaching scheme combines analysis in classroom teaching how to effectively achieve the goal of "process and method". Finally, according to the previous theoretical basis and the survey found the status of the implementation of geography process and method goal to hardware and software support, the geographical experiment as a means to explore the "independent learning, cooperation", to form the assessment as the carrier of multiple implementation strategy, and puts forward the shortcomings of the existing.
