Rural Social Costs Of Research Rapid Urbanization

Urbanization is an inevitable phenomenon during the modern social development process. The urbanization level of the developed countries has met above 70% after more than 100 years’ developing. After the reform and opening-up policy, our country turns to the high speed development period for urbanization. The urbanization level has arrived at 54% after 35 years. China’s urbanization has the large differences between the eastern and the western, which the urbanization level of eastern has almost close to the urbanization level of the developed countries, but the urbanization level of western just has 40% of the urbanization level of the developed countries. The western shall be the main part of urbanization developing in the future in China. For purpose of advancing the urbanization of western, in addition to investing lot of economic costs, social costs shall be regarded in the process of the urbanization, which is paid for the human activities, and is the key factor caused the cities and society disharmony.This article takes the rural family in the process of urbanization as research objects, from an perspective of rural urbanization theory and social cost theory, researches constitution of social cost for urbanization, which to build the frame of social cost for urbanization through the social investigations, to find out the reasons for producing the social costs of urbanization through data validation and positive analysis, and proposes countermeasures for reduce the social costs of urbanization, in order to hold the harmony of society and sustainable development.This article has 6 chapters. Chapter 1 is the introduction which mainly introduces the research background, the research goal, the research significance, the research methods, the technical routes and the current situation domestic and abroad. Chapter 2 is the concepts and theoretical basis, which introduces the concepts of urbanization, urbanizing the rural area, local urbanization, costs and social costs, and urban sociology, rural sociology and urban geography. Chapter 3 is the constructions of index system and model for the social costs of urbanization, which defines the social costs for urbanizing the rural area and explain its intension, and also analyzes and quantize the social costs for urbanizing the rural area, and find out the real reasons. Chapter 4 is about the research for Ping village in Gui An new district, which researches the social costs and the causes through the village investigation and analysis. Chapter 5 is about the countermeasure for the sustainable development of urbanization. According to the research results and the practical problems raised in current community urbanization process, the countermeasure for the sustainable development of community urbanization has been proposed. Chapter 6 is the conclusion and outlook.
