Rural education is the top priority of education.Chinese Government carried forward modern distance education in rural primary and secondary schools in 2005,to improve education quality in rural primary and middle schools through high-quality resources allocation.It is certainly very important for realization of high-quality resource allocation,reducing education differences between cities and rural areas,cities nurturing rural areas,promoting fair education.However,the national investment to long-distance education for rural primary and middle schools is very precious,it is very crucial for the project's practical achievement that how to make the most beneficial use of limited funds,and how to allocate the present human resources efficiently.Long-distance education project for rural area is the key task,which is general application of facilities allocation and high-quality resources.The project carries out requirement of "student-orientation,entering the classroom for teaching" to each primary and secondary schools in rural areas.So for a long period,emphasizing the application of long-distance education for rural area,ensuring sustainable development of long-distance education for rural area,will be one of the most important tasks for us.Based on the investigation of Kaifeng County,we study on the status of Henan Province distance education in rural areas,there are three problems:(i) the information literacy of subject teachers is not high(b) the normal operation of the security system is inadequate,management mode is still in the exploratory phase(c) the rural engineering resources in teaching the application did not achieve the desired results.For the first question,the reasons summed up as follows:1,the information technology teachers did not think over the concept of IT;2,by economic conditions,the information technology subject teachers had little chance to access;3,by the application of environmental,the subject teachers are difficult to use information technology in depth.The second issue for the reasons summed up as follows:1,lack of funds,the operation of the hardware can not work;2,technical teachers is lack the ability to tackle trouble;3,the school leadership did not think on it,so it is difficult to ensure effective rural projects to carry. out.For the third question,the reasons summed up as follows:1,the application of educational resources was implied by the traditional educational concepts;2,the characteristics of resources and applications were introduced and promoted,so the teachers could not use educational resources;3,because of bad training mechanisms,the effect of teacher training was not good.On this basis,I proposed some strategies for sustainable development about the project of Henan Provincea:(i) improve the functioning of the hardware resources to build the security system to ensure the normal operation of the hardware facilities.1,to increase funding to maintain the operation of equipment,sound management system and resource sharing mechanism 2,the training of technical teachers,the establishment of specialized technical team 3,the provincial departments to regularly organize activities to promote the effective implementation of the project(b) strengthen the software resources building 1,resource development should be service for teacher 2,resource development should be unity with teaching materials 3,strengthen development student's self-learning resources 4,resource development in rural areas should be consistent with the needs of the curriculum reform 5,and strive to "Resource Library "into" Knowledge Library "6,to enhance the development of resources application platform.(C) strengthen the training of teachers in educational technology to enhance the level of information literacy for teachers(d) setting up a Leaming Community,to ensure that the capacity of teachers to use its resources could be sustainable development。...
