In The Modern National Education Research In Hexi Area

Education of Hexi area before the Ming dynasty is given priority to with Confucianism. Although SheXue and YiXue has appeared, it develop slowly, almost in name only. To the Ming dynasty, the academy began to rise in Hexi region, has been developed to late Qing dynasty, it began to wane.Modern(1840-1949), change all aspects of Chinese society, politics and economy in transition, education and cultural changes, then thought the collision between the old and the new. Hexi area in the northwest of China, the political and economic development is slow, education also slow development, lagging behind the development of national education.The hexi area’s feudal economy which began to change in the late Qing dynasty. Feudal bureaucrat’s possession of arable land speed, land concentration, it is serious damaged to the social and economic development. This period, the traditional education in the college, YiXue and SheXue still exist, the late modern education appears, primary and secondary school in Hexi region were established.During the period of the Republic of China, the traditional education in hexi region was insteaded by the new education. This stage, primary school education,middle school education, pedagogical education, and part of ethnic minority education in Hexi area has development. With concrete figures are given in this paper.In modern times, the development of education in hexi area, not only contribute to improve the overall quality of the people of hexi region, but also promote the transformation of society in Hexi area. At the same time, laid a solid foundation to the Hexi education development after the founding of state.In the traffic inconvenience, frequent outbreaks, political instability, under the comprehensive function, modern education development of Hexi area is always slow.The shortage of education funds exacerbated the slow state, eventually led to the gap in Hexi areas of higher education, vocational education developed slowly, less number of international students.
