Science and technology has become a great part, and the level of scientific literacy of the civics, is a crucial factor to measure the level of science and technology to nation. "QianXuesen’s Question" has reminded us deeply that, to improve the level of science and technology and the scientific literacy of the civics in China, its rooted in science educations. The public schools are the main subject of China, scientific literacy level of pupils, it basically can reflect the level of scientific literacy of pupils in China.Through to public pupils’ scientific literacyquestionnaire and science teachers’ interviews in Guiyang, according to summarizing Guiyang elementary school science teaching issues, relate to analysis the reason and give reasonable suggestions. Under the standard definition of the quality of scientific research, aimed at scientific interest, scientific experiments, scientific attitude and scientific ability four aspects of Guiyang public pupils’ scientific literacy. The teacher interviews for teachers include the difficulty level of science textbook, the science textbook suggestions, and the science curriculum teaching difficulties. Public pupils’ scientific literacy has following problems in Guiyang:(1) pupils has low interest on the part of the scientific field;(2) scientific knowledge system of pupils no integrity;(3)pupils lack of participation of scientific experiment;(4) pupils lack of scientific dialectical thinking ability;(5) pupils lack of scientific communication ability;(6) pupils and their parents lack of communication in science part.In order to improve the scientific literacy of the students, provide the following recommendations:(1) science textbooks should be according to the age characteristics of elementary school students to compile and reduce the difficulty;(2) enhance the level of professional quality of science teachers;(3) According to the elementary school science education standards for science courses experimental teaching;(4)provide students a relaxed educational environment in science teaching;(5)education institutions, teachers and parents should know the importance of science curriculum;(6) science curriculum should have diversification evaluation models. |
