There is no doubt that reading is an important part in Chinese teaching, especially in primary school,because it is relative to the formation of student’s ability, such as reading,writing, expressing and so on.The effectiveness of teaching is put forward by the existence of non-effect and low-effect. Only put effective teaching in practice, can change this situation, which makes both student and teachers feel tired. Since the reform of the new curriculum, a lot of young teachers who explore actively in the elementary education in our country have spring up. They make historical achievements and great contributions for new curriculum reform.. Zhou Yimin,who is one of them and his “Shi Hua” Chinese has attracted a lot of people. This paper take Zhou Yimin’s Chinese reading teaching as research object in a way of theory and practice. The paper can be divided into following parts: Introduction. Mainly introduce the origin and significance of this research, refine and summarize the current literature materials of effective teaching and Zhou Yimin’s teaching. The first chapter talks about the theory of the effective reading in this paper. The second chapter talks about the effectiveness in teaching, including the target, the contents, the methods, and the process. The third chapter talks about the effectiveness of teaching implementation. The last chapter try to find out some principles in effective teaching and put forward some suggestions for teachers. As for epilogue, objectively clarify the result of the study, the finding of the study, the thinking of the study and the limitation of the study.
