Interactive teaching focuses on exchange, interaction and the mutual development during the learning process between teacher and students. Students are active constructors of learning theory and the teacher is a guide and a facilitator.Interactive teaching has been implemented nationwide, and Guangixi is no exception. Currently, how is the interaction in English speaking and listening class between teacher and students in Guangxi minority area? What are the factors that influence the English interaction in this kind of class of minority area? What kinds of strategies that local teachers employ for operating the interactive teaching in English speaking and listening class? Confronting this situation, the author is going to do research on English interactive teaching of listening and speaking class in Guangxi Province.This paper tries to do research on the minority of Rongshui county in Guangxi Province based on the theory of Constructivism, Democratic Education, Affective Education and Cooperative Learning. The intention of the research is to acquire the basic situation of English interactive teaching in Guangxi minority area, find out problems and offer suggestions to the problems and subsequent researches. And the research subjects are the second grade students of three junior Middle schools in Guangxi minority area. Together with of questionnaire, interview and observation in schools of the minority area, the author tries to acquire the specific situation of the interactive class.Results of the study show the following problems in interaction of English speaking and listening class in Guangxi minority area:the interaction in general doesn’t go deep enough in the parts of interactive model or interaction form, question and answer; teachers tend to ignore students’level and personality differences in the real interaction process; students are in lack of interactive awareness.Finally, several suggestions are put forward:teachers need to abandon the traditional teaching idea; teachers need to highly value the emotional interaction and build up a harmonious relationship with students so as to deepen the level of interaction; teachers need to stimulate students’interest and enhance their awareness of interaction and give them more rights to organize the activity。...
