Environment is one of the themes of human activity, an important object of study in the level of literature, describe the teaching environment has a significant place in the high school language teaching, language teaching materials as an important link between literature and education are important carriers of knowledge of languages and language teaching. In this paper, we chose the 2004 edition of PEP compulsory high school language textbook as the example of the theory study textbook description of environment, combined with the current status of Chinese teaching, analyze their causes, to guide middle school Chinese teaching practice, the description of the environment to make some teaching strategies suggest.Chapter one is about environmental description overview study which focused on the concept, classification, characteristics and effects, summarized and comb more comprehensive for environmental description theories to provide theoretical support for language teaching environment description. Chapter two mainly combined with the current teaching of environmental description, such as the description of the status of cold, and of teaching type of simple and modern means of education divorced from other issues that exist in teaching, from teaching objectives, teaching contents and teaching methods at three levels in depth analysis of the causes. Chapter three made the following teaching strategies of how to improve environmental description of the quality of teaching, enhance language learning ability of middle school students in particular, language appreciation and writing skills,which including of grasping the point description of environment, reasonable coverage teaching text; optimizing the teaching environment description link. Chapter four are some thinking about environmental description migration teaching literacy training proposed fragment appreciation, practical steps and methods fragment parodies and thematic writing to promote student mobility in the environment by learning theory to describe the creation of practice.It’s a timeless problem about how to teach environmental description in highschool. To avoid the saperation of theory and practice from the situation, to make up for the lack of description of environment research in high school language teaching, this thesis committed to providing some reference to literary texts research and education practice.
