| As the first socialist country in the world, the Soviet Union not only established a relatively complete set of education system, but also had a large number of famous educators. Anton Shelonovich Makarenko is one of the most important representatives in Soviet Union’s early education field. His moral eduction concept and practice are valuable heritages. China has a traditon of attaching great importance to moral education. Since the foundation of the people’s Republic of China, through various kinds of education, the society shows itself a good social atmosphere and socialist morality is deep in the hearts of our people. However, the rapid social transformations have some negative impacts on people’s moral concepts. Moral decay, moral declinaion and shortage of moral consciousness can be often seen. However, the moral quality of people is directly related to the country’s future and the nation’s destiny. Facing the new situation, new problems and new changes in China’s moral education development, we began to seek more useful models and methods of moral education. Therefore, we need to learn from foreign experience in moral education, especially from some beneficial explorations in socialist countries. Makarenko’s concept on Moral Education can provide some useful inspiration for our country’s moral education.This article will be elaborated in five parts. The first chapter includes the introduction, the main reason for choosing the topic, the significance of the topic, the research status, the research methods, the research ideas and the frameworks. The second chapter will introduce Makarenko’s life and his ideological background. His moral education background will be analyzed from the theory and social aspects. The third chapter explains the basic views of Makarenko’s communist moral education concept. This chapter mainly elaborates from the nature and purpose of communist morality, communist newcomers’s necessary moral character and the main contents of communism moral education. The fourth chapter analyzes collectivism education. The collective concept, features, formation, education and collective relations, ways of collective education and the significance of the collective education are five analysis directions. The fifth chapter focuses on the inspiration of the theory and practice on our nations’s moral education. |
