With the development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, the community education which aims at meeting the needs of the whole community and the development of the community has been raised to an unprecedented height. Curriculum as the core of education, is the important support to carry out community education activities. The study of curriculum development is conducive to enrich the curriculum system of community education, and improve the process of curriculum development, which is of great significance to the development of community education in our country. After the multiple intelligence theory was born in the 1980s, is rapidly becoming an important guiding ideology of the reform of American education. At present, our country community education curriculum development present situation is not optimistic, draw on the theory of multiple intelligence, to promote the development of community education curriculum is of great significance.This paper takes the H District of Wuhan city as an example, using the methods of literature research, questionnaire survey and interview to study the development of community education curriculum. Using the combination of empirical analysis and case analysis, the present curriculum development status of H District of Wuhan City, summed up the curriculum development, the absence of the subject, curriculum objectives is not clear, curriculum development and evaluation mechanism, lack of teachers and community education management of quantity and quality can not meet the development needs, community education, lack of the support of environment and so on. Under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences, from both the micro and macro aspects put forward countermeasures to improve the community education curriculum development, micro aspect:"people-oriented" research needs, to train innovation ability and problem solving ability for core curriculum goal, diversification of curriculum design, a nature of classroom implementation, context and diversified curriculum evaluation; macro:to establish high-quality, professional curriculum development team, to create a good social environment.
