With the development of wireless network and mobile communication technologies and the popularity of the mobile communication device, mobile learning within the digital learning based on the effective combination of mobile computing technology bring learners a new feeling of study 。 Apple iPad, launched in 2010, brought new opportunities for the innovation of the primary school education application in China. Within or out of Class, students can learn with iPad and enjoy the colorful study environment. Meanwhile, the human-computer interaction, interaction between students and teachers are performed using iPad applications.Hence, professor Zhang in CCNU collaborated with the primary school attached to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and conducted this study based on the project of APT teaching model in intelligent classroom. How to conduct the information teaching based on the APT teaching model in iPad mobile environment? What about the self-efficacy of the students in the iPad mobile environment?To solve these questions, the 5th grade students in the primary school attached to Huazhong University of Science and Technology were selected as the research objects of this study. With the observation and participation, this study aimed to investigate the teaching design and implementation of the information teaching based on the APT teaching model in the iPad mobile environment.Based on comprehensive statistic analysis, the modified Self-Efficacy Scale was used to explore the APT teaching model effect of mathematics learning self-efficacy in iPad mobile environment with two dimensions:learning ability and learning behavior. This study aimed to change the primary school mathematics learning methods and improve the self-efficacy of mathematics learning with the analysis of the implementation effect of APT teaching model in the iPad mobile environment.The result revealed that the mathematics learning self-efficacy with iPad mobile environment was improved and significant higher than that of the traditional mathematics class (P<0.05); the self-efficacy of female students was improved, especially in the learning ability, which was significant higher than male students (P<0.05).The effect of iPad mobile environment on the mathematics learning was different in the two dimensions. Compared with the traditional class, the ability sense, environment sense, classroom-learning behavior, extracurricular learning behavior of students in the iPad mobile environment were significantly improved (P<0.05). However, the self-efficacy on hardworking sense was not changed using the APT teaching model in the iPad mobile environment, and the self-discipline sense was significantly decreased (P<0.05).
