The curriculum reform of elementary education advocates the active interaction with students in the process of classroom teaching and mutual development. Interaction between teachers and students in class has an important significance to teaching, building a good interaction between teachers and students is an important way to improve teaching. There are a lot of troubles in the interaction between teachers and students in the English class of junior high school of countryside, the study of junior high school English class from the angle of interaction between teachers and students of the countryside is less, this article can make up the empty of research on this aspect. The author hope that the study of interaction between teachers and students can help the English teachers of rural junior high school in the classroom teaching and it also can improve the effectiveness of interaction to the author himself in the future. The paper made the investigation and analysis over the status of teacher-student interaction in the rural English class by the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview to analyze the interactive factors that affect the teacher-student interaction in the rural English class and tried to put forward the effective strategies that can improve the teacher-student interaction in the rural English class. This article is divided into four parts: the first part was the introduction, mainly including the reasons of the problem, the purpose and significance of the study, research status, the definition of the concept, research ideas and research methods. The second part found out the status of teacher-student interaction in the rural English class and the existing main problems, learnt the psychological status of the students by making the survey on the learning motivation, learning attitude, learning attitude of students and made the investigation and analysis over the current status of teacher-student interaction in the rural English class to obtain the existing problems of teacher-student interaction in the rural English class, that is, the concentration of the object of teacher-student interaction. Factors that affect the teacher-student interaction in the rural English class were analyzed from three aspects of students, teachers and environment. The strategies that can improve the teacher-student interaction in the rural English class were put forward by the status and problems of teacher-student interaction in the rural English class. The strategies mainly include pay attention to the differences of students, the classification of teacher-student interaction to create a favorable education environment and a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, the improvement of teachers’ professional development, the optimization of the teachers’ questioning level, the respect towards the subject status of students, the stimulation of students’ problem raising awareness and transformation from the concept of cognition into interaction, the promotion of emotional interaction; the proper construction of the class scale and reasonable arrangement of seats.
