Our party and the state have always attached great importance to education. "Outline of the national medium and long term educational reform and development plan(2010-2020)" put forward that we should take the reform and innovation as a powerful driving force for educational development. We should innovative talent cultivation system, schools running system, and education management system, reform quality evaluation system, examination and enrollment system, teaching content, teaching methods, and teaching devices, construct modern school system, and build modern education system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At the same time, the “outline ” put forward that we should adhere the people-oriented, promote quality education as the strategic theme of education reform and development, and the requirements of the era of implementing the party’s education policy.The core is to solve the problems of what people we should cultivate and how to cultivate them. The Key is to face all the students and to promote all-round development of students.And we should focus on improving the students’ social responsibility of serving, innovative spirit of exploring, and practical ability of solving problems.Secondary vocational education is an important part of national education. It takes great responsibility of training high-quality workers, intermediate specialized talents and junior specialized talents with comprehensive vocational ability in the first line of production,service, technology and management. But from the point of view of the present situation of secondary vocational education, limited to the impact of concept education, teachers,equipment, teaching materials, and other aspects, there are still a lot of problems on training students ’ comprehensive vocational ability(professional ability, social skills, methods ability) in secondary vocational schools. The author believes that action oriented teaching model is a key to improve students’ comprehensive vocational ability.The author is engaged in the professional teaching for 10 years in secondary vocational school. Since 2005, the author have engaged in the teaching work of "single chip computer" course and the guidance work of students’ competition. In the process of implementing the action oriented teaching model in "single chip computer" course, the author accumulates some theoretical and practical experience.In this study, the author proposes design of teaching content and the implementation process based on action oriented teaching model in "single chip computer" course of secondary vocational school based on the action oriented teaching theory, the fundamental analysis, and the teaching present situation of "single chip computer" course. The author takes the quasi experimental study through selecting "single chip computer" course of secondary vocational school. At the same time, the author analysises and evaluates the teaching based on the action oriented teaching theory.In this study, the author uses quasi experimental study, literature research, questionnaire survey and the interviewing, analysises theories based on the action oriented teaching model,forms design of teaching content and the implementation process based on action oriented teaching model in "single chip computer" course of secondary vocational school, verifies the effect of action oriented teaching model in "single chip computer" course of secondary vocational school, confirms action oriented teaching model is superior to the traditional teaching model in training students’ professional ability, social skills, and methods ability.This study has reference significance in the teaching of "single chip computer" course of secondary vocational schools.
