With the recommendation of the new curriculum reform, people for the teachers’ professional level and higher, increased attention. Therefore, teachers, especially novice teachers focus on their own professional development efforts. This paper is based on teacher community of practice to talk about ways to promote ideological and political teachers’ professional development. Teachers’development not emphasized by teachers’ personal effort, pay more attention to the mutual cooperation between teachers, exchanges and mutual learning, to help overcome various does not adapt to new teachers, promote the renewal of the old educational ideas, realize the overall ideological and political teachers’ professional development. This article mainly includes the following aspects:The first part is the introduction, which mainly discusses the background of the thesis, the significance of the selected topic and the research status of the teacheis1 practice community at home and abroad.The second part, first, the community of practice connotation and characteristics were comprehensive analysis, and according to its understanding of the definition of its connotation, the teachers in "communities of practice" is by the learners of teachers with the purpose of a shared vision, shared interests and the composition of the teacher troop, is to the problems in the practice of teaching as the basis, in order to fully exchange, communication mechanism, sharing personal resources exchange integrated collective wisdom, realize the teacher’s own development, the growth of teaching practical activities. Secondly, a comprehensive analysis of the content and the status of Ideological and political teachers’ professional development, which lay the foundation for the following strategies are put forward. Finally, this paper expounds the value of development of teachers themselves.The third part, teacher practical community in promoting the ideological and political teachers’ professional development process ought to be the status and actual status compared and find out the main reasons of the problems.The last, mainly on in order to promote the professional development of teachers, in the teacher community of practice should take the strategy, mainly from three aspects to explain, respectively is the major role in the community of practice and a key link in the community of practice, organization community of practice in the process of reflection.
