Chinese excellent traditional culture is the material wealth and the spiritual wealth created by the Chinese nation in the long process of historical development and transforming nature and contains the unique cultural value of the Chinese nation. Although it is created in the past, but it is not restricted by the history. It has a great influence on the ideology of the current Chinese society and development tendency. Chinese excellent traditional culture is the inexhaustible precious resources. Integrating the excellent traditional culture into the Middle school’s ideological and political education, it will Integrating the excellent traditional culture into the Middle school’s ideological and political education, it will promote the improvement of Middle school’s ideological and political education, cultural heritage, the development of the students and teachers.Under the guidance of the Marxist theory and the basic principles of the ideological and political education, the thesis focuses on the growth of the middle school students, carries forward the excellent traditional culture and builds a harmonious society. The thesis combines the social value of the ideological and political education with the connotation of the traditional culture, to build up the efficient path of the ideological and political education. The text consists of four parts:the first part researches the value of the excellent traditional culture applied to the ideological and political education of the middle school from two aspects of the necessity and the significance. And then, the first part summarizes the connotation and the basic characteristics of the excellent traditional culture. The second part analyzes the situation on the excellent traditional culture applied to the ideological and political education of the middle school and discovers the missing of the application. And then, the second part discusses the cause of the missing. According to the author’s own teaching experience, the third part lists some case of teaching practice, and analyzes the deficiencies and problems in the activities. In view of the deficiencies of the teaching cases and the problems in the practices, the fourth part discusses on how to innovate the path and methods of the excellent traditional culture into Middle school’s ideological and political education. And then, the fourth part carries on the analysis from some aspects, such as the innovative concept and principle, building the good environment, the innovative methods. The part makes every effort to promote the teaching reform of middle school students’ ideological and political education, to carry forward Chinese excellent traditional culture, to improve the ideological and moral quality of the middle school students, and cultivate applied talents under the new situation.
