Since the implementation of a new round basic education curriculum reform, in the era of knowledge economy and the information society, The knowledge increased and updated with unimaginable speed, current politics education plays an important role and occupies an important position, high school students who study current politics knowledge have an important guiding significance of their own development. But in the teaching of high school political lesson, due to the subjective and objective factors, the current politics education in high school is very weak. In recent years, the college entrance examination of current politics education intensified, current politics knowledge is the indispensable of the syllabus requirements, syllabus attach great importance to the creation and use of “new materials and situation”, thus put forward a new request of teacher’s teaching accordingly, as a political teachers should have a new understanding of the ideological and political teaching in senior high school.The study into high school political class, access to political education research in the related literature,through learning and the related theory research and teaching practice of school of practice, based on the teacher interviews and student questionnaires survey materials as the empirical data support, and based on the status exists appearance of current high school in the ideological and political education as breakthrough point, explore the reason of the question and strive to find the path and measure which can improve current high school in the ideological and political education status.The paper are divided into six parts:The first part are the introduction part which includes the origin of the problem, research status and development trend, research significance, ideas and methods.The second part: Expound the basic content of high school in the ideological and political education, mainly including the concept of political education definition, the characteristics of high school in the ideological and political education, and the relationship between politics of education and the ideological and political course in high school.The third part discusses the important function of political education in senior high school.The fourth part are based on the teacher interviews and the student questionnaires in the process of teaching practice, analysis the current situation of political and ideological education in the senior high school.The fifth part is the analysis of the causes of the problems in the political and ideological education in senior high school.The sixth part: combined with my education in practice during the teaching practice summary, in view of the high school political and ideological and political education present situation and existing problems and cause analysis proposed to add some suggestions on strengthening the ideological and political education of high school political class.
