| “Science Practice†is a new idea from the development of scientific philosophy and scientific education. The word—“Practiceâ€entering scientific education is the result of reversing stereotyped tendency of the classroom inquiry activity by science education researchers in the past 20 years. The Integrate Science Theme-based Activity Curriculum is developed under the idea of Science Practice. “Scientific Exploration in Wetland†is the theme of the activity. It is combined with the life and knowledge background of students. Students take part in various activities to solve scientific problems by using comprehensive knowledge and scientific method in real problem situation. Its aim is to improve students’ scientific literacy and teachers’ curriculum development capacity. The features of the curriculum designing are reflecting as follows: the teaching target is integration,the content is totalization,the activities are diversity,and the evaluation is multiple.The result and empirical research show:1.The Integrate Science Theme-based Activity Curriculum under the Idea of Science Practice is in favor of the development of students’ scientific literacy.The students obtain the activity experience and gain the sense of achievement by finding problems in real-world situations and solving problems with scientific method.2.It is a new trend of development for the science activity curriculum by combining with the local and the school’s characteristic.3. Teachers’ capacity to develop curriculum is improved through developing the Integrate Science Theme-based Activity Curriculum. There are lessons here for the other teachers to develop science activity curriculum. |
