Entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities is the social hot spot and the important task of future development of higher education. Entrepreneurship education around the world already have plenty of development process and fruitful results, and our country, from the late 1990 s began to learn the advanced experience of entrepreneurship education abroad and carry out entrepreneurship education in some major universities. At the same time, facing the world’s new trend of the entrepreneurship education development, the ministry of education in our country and other relevant government departments began to pay more and more attention to it, and write the entrepreneurship education into the overall planning of higher education in China. Government pay their best effort to promote the development of entrepreneurship education in universities from the perspectives of their policy,, and also it has made very gratifying progress and growth. On May 14,2015, General Office of the State Council issued<The opinion on deepening the reform of the institutions of higher learning innovation entrepreneurship education>, in order to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education and to promote college graduates obtain higher quality business or employment, further promoting the realization of public entrepreneurship and innovation.In the wave of "public entrepreneurship and innovation", college students’ entrepreneurship development become a social focus. But in practice we found that the college students’ entrepreneurship confronted following the purpose blindly, incomprehensive knowledge hierarchy, unscientific social support. Aiming at the problem of entrepreneurship for college students, education in colleges and universities how to give a full play and guide students to start up business efficiently, scientifically and rationally is the concerning focus of this article.As is known to all, entrepreneurship education in American universities is the guide and the leader of global entrepreneurship education. After decades of practice, the United States formed the scientific concept of entrepreneurship education and the perfect system of entrepreneurship education. "There are other hills where stones are good for working jade." This article selects the most representative Stanford university and the MIT as a case, make full analysis of the advanced experience in their entrepreneurship education, offering reference for innovative development of entrepreneurship education system in China. At the same time, this article also recognizes the differences between national conditions of China and the United States, not blindly following the entrepreneurial education model. This paper pays attention to combining with China’s national conditions, combining with the characteristics of higher education development and combining with the preferential policies in our country, then puts forward the system of entrepreneurship education which really corresponds to Chinese colleges and universities.Systematically analyzing the content of entrepreneurship education, this article,from the entrepreneurial spirit, the entrepreneurial awareness, the entrepreneurial knowledge, the entrepreneurial ability and so on, expounds the working direction. Comprehensively analyzing the current development status of entrepreneurship education in our country, we should focus on the result, and also the default. Aiming at the existing problems of entrepreneurship education in our country, combining with the successful experience of representative entrepreneurship education in US, we put forward the strategy of the reform and development of entrepreneurship education: changing ideas; building a multi-level system of entrepreneurship; creating excellent faculty; cultivating the strong campus entrepreneurial atmosphere; taking full advantage of external resources.
