| In modern society, with the rapid development of science and technology, we pay more attention to the talents, especially innovative talents who play an important role in social value creation, therefore nations pay more attention to the training of creative ability in education and talent training. Based on the professional teaching of undergraduate in Yunnan University vocational and continuing education college, the most professional courses are using the teacher centered teaching method, which is always called the traditional teaching method, there is still space for improvement of students’ learning level, especially high learning levels like analyze, evaluate, and create.As it evolved, constructivist learning theory has formed a relatively complete and mature theoretical system so far. Different from cognitive learning theory and behaviorism learning theory which take teachers as the central, constructivism learning theory takes students as the central, specifically, constructivism learning theory pays more attention to students’ self construction of the knowledge, and it promotes students’ active exploration and discovery in teaching, and the role of teachers is to provide guidance and help in the learning process of the students. This teaching favors the gain of higher level of students’ learning. With the development of Constructivist learning theory, it provides a more complete theoretical basis for further application in the teaching practice.This research is based on the thought and method of constructivism learning theory, and the main purpose of the study is to further improve the learning level of the learners, using the method of literature research, survey research, based on design research, and other research methods to complete the study. This paper discusses its application in the teaching design and implementation in the "teaching design "course in Yunnan University vocational and continuing education college, and finally the writer reconsiders the teaching effect.Firstly, this paper discusses the related views of constructivism learning theory, such as concept of knowledge and learning, the roles of students and teachers; secondly, I designed a questionnaire, which is a survey of undergraduate students, to investigate the basic situation (gender, age, and other) and the learning level status of the 2013 grade undergraduate in Yunnan University vocational and continuing education college; then I take the "teaching design" course as an application example of the learning theory of constructivism to teaching design, which uses a kind of teaching strategies called the problem stent, which is one of the stent types; then put the teaching design into effect in the course teacher’s help. According to the before-and-after survey results of undergraduate learning level, consulting quiz results in classroom, and self-evaluation and other-evaluation results about the contents they explained in front of the class, and the final report and course-ware they created of the teaching design, this paper argues that applying the constructivist learning theory to the "teaching design" course is helpful for improving the students’ learning level, and in my opinion, the method of learning theory of constructivism has a certain popularization value for similar subjects. |
