Research On The Role Of Social Work In Community Governance

Social governance is a hot topic in recent years, the government and the academic community are more concerned about, as a specific level of community governance in the grass roots government and academia are widely discussed. From "community management" to "community governance", it is not just a slogan of change, it is more a kind of government administrative thinking and administrative reform, that is, it is a series of social change. However, the specific social work can play a role in community governance, and how much the role, there is no clear answer.This paper takes a community in Chengdu high tech Zone as an example, through literature research, case study and so on to try and actively explore the role of social work in community governance. First, through field investigation and collect and master the necessary research data, and draw lessons from the theory of social work and community governance research and analysis and to social work in community governance, the role and functions of main line found the important role of social workers in community governance in acts as a community governance negotiation person, multi linkage facilitator, social policy implications, efficient, service providers, the development of innovative advocates., research also found that the social work in the community governance plays solve community problems and improve the community function, improve and innovation and community governance, change the community related to the subject of philosophy and other important functions. But, at present social workers in community governance also exist the role is not clear, the role of cognitive degree is not high, the role is not clear, the role play a limited role predicament and strength is weak and lack of independence, lack of extensive mass foundation, professional body now is not obvious dysfunction. Through the research analysis, we find that caused social work in community governance role predicament and dysfunction of the reason is the main community in the traditional administrative management and "official standard" thought is strong, the body for the import of localization of social work development level is not high, professional social work recovery time short and lack of corresponding system and legal protection.Therefore, in order to promote the development of social work in community governance can play a better role, thus recommends that:(1) clear social workers in community governance role(2) improve the social work localization and specialization level(3) to improve the systems and laws of the development of social work(4) to expand the space of growth and the development of social work.
