To effectively transform the classroom instructional models, to improve students’ learning skills and to cultivate good learning Behaviors are key issues that first-line high school physics teachers are faced with. The recently modified direction of the College Entrance Examination also indicates that teachers should make efforts to construct learning-oriented instructional designs. Therefore, to further improve the high school physics curriculum, based on students’real situation and the modular pedagogical principles, the author has constructed the "learning guide based instruction" mode for physics teaching in high schools. The author has also conducted a two years long action research to see how the "learning guide based instruction" could help students, in which a teaching model have been applied in parallel to two classes of high school students with similar backgrounds. Through careful observation and comparison of the students’ learning progresses and skill developments, on one hand, the author has summarized the learning guides for various high school physics instructional modules; on the other hand, via analyzing different forms of feedback, there has been a deeper understanding of the feasibility and vitality of "learning guide based instruction" in high school physics education. Tosome extent proves that "learning guide based instruction" teaching mode can improve high students’ learning abilities on physics. |
