Purpose:The purpose of this study is validating the effect of D-ribose in releasing DOMS. Methods:21 college students (age:21±2 years of age, weight:75.52 ±11.24 kg, height:179.48±6.45cm). Inducing DOMS by leapfrog model (140,7groups, each group 20).Coinciding rating scale, biomechanical evaluation index and biochemical indicators with the condition of the body aches before 24 hours, and 48 hours to verify the effect of DOMS with evaluation methods. According to the sport ability and resilience of the subjects for the first time, the test persons were divided into two groups. The second part of test are similar to the first part, the difference is that adding 15g D-ribose and placebo in five specific time point in the experimental group and control group, Verifying D ribose in the improvement of DOMS through the contrast between group. Using SPSS,the statistical software, to analysize the experimental data. Defining the significance level as P<0.05, very significant level as P<0.01. Results:1. Six levels of pain level and visual analogue scale of 24,48 hours had significantly increased.2. Peak torque (PT) has very significant difference. Metabolic indices of blood lactic acid have very significant difference immediately after exercise; CK,LDH,MB,SOD,T-AOC,MDA all has significant difference.3. Significant difference between two groups in CK,LDH,MB,MDA. Conclusions: 1.Leapfrog has induced DOMS, Flexion total energy, CK, LDH, MB, SOD, T-AOC and MDA has significant difference before 24 and 48 hours.2. D ribose reduced the damage of fibers,suppressing stop peroxide,improve the body’s ability to remove free radicals, it improved DOMS.
