A Study On The Effectiveness Of Chinese Extracurricular Reading In Junior Highschool

The extracurricular reading is an important part of life and learning, good extracurricular reading is helpful to cultivate students good moral character and temperament, can promote students to understand and love the motherland language, improve comprehension ability, also can develop good habits of students’ information literacy and independent learning, the development of innovative thinking. In a word, the extracurricular reading is helpful to cultivate students’ cultural literacy, promote the development of students’ comprehensive health. This paper is divided into four parts: first, to the junior middle school Chinese extracurricular reading are summarized, and introduces the concept of extracurricular reading in junior middle school students’ extracurricular reading significance; secondly, through the collation and analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey on extracurricular reading several secondary schools in Jinzhou City, to understand the main problems existed in current junior middle school students’ extracurricular reading; again, according to the problems found in the questionnaire survey, combined with the learning motivation and learning strategies of educational psychology theory, puts forward methods of Improving Junior Middle School Chinese extracurricular reading effectiveness; finally, to the junior middle school Chinese extracurricular reading can be implemented effectively in the teaching, put forward to ensure the effectiveness of the evaluation mechanism the extracurricular reading.
