The important task of Chinese teaching is to cultivate the students’ ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. under the background of new curriculum reform, it is emphasized that we must make intensify efforts to promote the students’ writing ability in the Chinese curriculum standard, and the scores of composition in the language examination also continues to grow, which make the thesis teaching become the key of the Chinese teaching. However, the present situation of teaching and learning composition is not optimistic. Composition teaching is still a weak link in Chinese teaching. As a result, many Chinese teachers adopt various training methods to improve the students’ composition level.Even so, the students’ writing level has not been much improved after the intensive training. Furthermore, it makes some students lose interest in writing.This phenomenon could cause the reflection of the general language teacher. An excellent Chinese composition not only need good language expression,structural framework, rhetoric skills, also need to clear logical thinking ability. The paper will be to do the research of image composition teaching, in order to train the students’ ability to use imagery thinking to write.This thesis mainly is divided into eight parts:Introduction is mainly a brief interpretation and explanation from several aspects: the problems put forward, definition and research review, research significance and content, research ideas and methods, feasibility analysis and so on.In part one, gaining the theory basis of this thesis through the careful study of pedagogy, psychology, writing ect, and collecting, sorting, researching, analyzing related theory of image composition teaching to insight into the research theory,and this is also as the theoretical basis of this study.In part two, to probe the connotation of "image" composition teaching view,which mainly explores the relations among the word, meaning, image, and clearlybe in good mastery of "word", "meaning" and "image" in writing. The article itself cannot leave the meaning and the image.In part three, to comb "image composition" training system,inter operate the three principles of the training, and clearly illustrate the basic link and its methods of the "image composition" training such as the design of the relationship among the conception, the meaning and the image.In part four, the class of teacher Vince will be divided into three forms:students share the beautiful sentences before class, teachers explains poetry appreciation, and the classics lectures. he want to train students’ image thinking through the three forms of classroom teaching.The author presents the real image composition class through settling and analyzing teacher Vince’s typical class about "image" and "conception".In part five, through interviewing Vince and his colleagues, and other relevant Chinese education workers, more in-depth understanding of "imagery" composition teaching and training system are obtained, and understand that, by collecting the students’ composition to communicate with students, teachers have a better understanding of the teaching effect about "imagery" composition teaching.In part six, throughout the results this article explores and reflection on "imagery" composition teaching, which provide some enlightenment and offer more feasible suggestions and strategies of composition teaching for teachers.Conclusion is about the summary the innovation of this paper and the reflection of its deficiencies.
