English writing is an important part in the process of English teaching, and it is also an important factor to test students’ comprehensive practical ability in English language. In English writing, teaching and learning influence each other, how to teach and learn to improve the quality of students’ compositions is a great problem that has always been bothering teachers and students. For a long time, the feedback has long been regarded as an important part in second language writing teaching, it has the advantage that cannot be underestimated to let students understand the advantages and disadvantages of their composition and improve their writing level. There are multiple feedback methods, such as teacher feedback and peer feedback, network feedback or a combination multiple feedback, etc. However, the traditional teacher feedback way still occupied the main position in our country. This way of feedback takes teachers as the main body, and the center of the feedback process is still the teachers’ activities. Teachers and students are required to pay more attention to the use of feedback mode that in order to improve the students’ English level, explore new teaching methods and solve various problems exist in the English writing class. Therefore, I want to explore the feedback mode of peer feedback on English writing in this paper, and expected to be helpful to the teaching of English writing. In consequence, this research has great realistic significance.This research based on three kinds of theory including the results of teaching theory and the process of teaching theory, cooperative learning theory and constructivism theory as the theoretical basis, then comparison and analysis the students’ writing score in comparative classes and experimental classes. It mainly answers the following questions: Do junior high school students hold a positive attitude or negative attitude to peer feedback? Is it helpful to improve the enthusiasm of student English writing of using Peer feedback and improve the quality consciousness of students’ English composition? Thus it is concluded that the peer feedback helps to improve the students’ English writing.The research adopts the method of experimental. Firstly I selected an experimental class and one that in comparative classes in the school, and then I took a before test to know their English writing level and a questionnaire to understand the psychological state of English learning. Next I taught the students that in comparative class by conventional teaching methods of teacher feedback model, while the experimental class using the combination of peer feedback and teacher feedback teaching method in writing teaching. After 12 weeks of teaching experiment, I collected the results of the survey data with students’ English writing level of two classes by after test and questionnaire. According to the experimental data, the author use social statistics software SPSS analysis and statistics it, and the results found that the experimental classes of students’ English writing level is higher than that in comparative classes.As a consequence, the experiments show that the use of peer feedback to improve the junior middle school students’ English writing enthusiasm and quality consciousness, it also helps to improve the level of junior middle school students’ English writing.
