Research On Social Integration Of Migrant Children

The urbanization advancement speeding up unceasingly, more and more parents from rural to urban, struggle for the future of the children. Most of these migrant workers home, formed a part of their villages. Their faces many difficulties and confusion, such as children education, housing, medical problems, the problem of employment, separation problem of husband and wife, the second generation of migrant workers education and development, and so on. Urban society also has a large floating population of traffic, public security, health, environment and other problems. Urban villages in which they live in exile and his children with him, hope to give their children a good education since childhood and life environment, however, the reality is that they are busy living, gradually ignore the communication with the child, neglect to the child’s management, lack of family education, lead to these migrant children exist in the city of learning situation is grim, the lack of extracurricular activities, the phenomenon such as the physical and mental development and social integration difficulties. Children who have lost themselves in the growing lack of communication of interesting. The child itself is hope for the future development of a country, as a huge group migrant children often be overlooked, they need more respect and care.Social integration is floating children must learn to content, after entering the city unfamiliar environment, strange people, all kinds of facilities are inevitable in the floating children’s social adaption will come into contact with. Floating children some more special than normal children, they come into contact with the growth environment is completely different with the past will be at a loss, panic fear, repressed life, therefore, floating children’s social into the solution of the problem is they came to a pressing task of city life, but also a long-term project, not only needs the efforts of the floating children, also needs the social various resources linkage cooperate to help migrant children to adapt existing life faster, better integrated into society.In this paper, on the basis of previous research experts and scholars of literature, YG community in Hefei, for example, studies the problems of the floating children’s social integration, in the form of combination of questionnaire and interview to understand their survival present situation and the existing problems. Social work as a professional to help disadvantaged groups, plays an important role in solving the problem of floating children, expatiates YG community problems of floating children, from the internal environment and external environment, the author analyzes the reasons of floating children social integration difficult, thus improve the floating children’s social environment and promote the change of the individual, to help migrant children to improve their ability, and individual,family, school and social aspects of floating children better in society put forward countermeasure and the suggestion, promote the migrant children integrate into city life.Finally to hefei YG community as an example, through the YG community activities and program design, combined with professional methods and skill of social work, according to the specific condition of they provide corresponding services, use team work and case work help migrant children in the village development to develop themselves, and examples to YG results in communities hope for floating children’s social integration in the society play a role in promoting and applying, promoting effect of the floating children’s social integration to produce, also provide some practical data for future research and experience. This is what the aim of this research is to show.
