The Research Of Constructing The Support System Of Social Work For Floating Children

Along with the quickening of Chinese urbanization, the problem of floating children has received social widespread attention day by day. The problem of floating children is against the principle of social justice, and the support system of social work is advantageous in satisfying the floating children's social needs, and promoting the realization of social justice. Floating children's social needs include safeguarding healthy life, accepting elementary education, adjusting individual psychology, and enhancing social interaction ability. Social work plays an important role in solving the problem of floating children, that is:providing social channels for solving the problem of floating children, assisting floating children to improve their own capacity, and promoting the improvement of the urban living environment for floating children.To construct the support system of social work for floating children, the background of the reality of the social structure of city and countryside dual differentiation, the increasing large scale of floating children, and the immature development of social work should be taken into consideration; the principle of fairness and justice, anti-discrimination, helping people help oneself, self-determination of case subject, caring and protection, and confidentiality should be observed; and it needs the cooperation between the government organization and the non-government organization. The main work of the support system involves two aspects: on the one hand, for person and family, keeping substance life and physical health of floating children, helping them to adjust psychology and behavior properly, and sharpening their social interaction ability to promote their healthy growth; on the other hand, for society, promoting improvement of the living environment of school and community and society for floating children and reaching the acceptance of urban society toward them.In the last part, the safeguard measures of running of support system of social work for floating children are exposited, including:enhancing leaders'attention and public's participation, strengthening the role of functional institution, striving for the coordination from the relevant units, and deeply developing the practice of social work for floating children.
