21st century is the era of rapid development of network technology. Education and computer technology have been closely linked together. Application of network technology in the field of education has a vital role. Both teachers’ teaching and students’ learning, are inseparable from the network.Especially after the year of 2010, based on the integration of information technology and courses, a large number of network-based learning and online courses have sprung up endlessly. The government gradually focuses on network course construction and development of distance learning online. Based on the education circles and the impact of technology, online courses and online learning has grown with an unprecedented speed. Web based learning make the learners not only receive the education in the classroom, but also learn by using the network at any time.From a practical point of view, this study tends to explore the experiential teaching mode’s effect on the online courses’ learning efficiency. From the points of teachers, learners, and several other aspects, using Longman English Interactive as online course platform, the study selects the undergraduate students and teachers of Shenyang Normal University as the subjects to expend research by using qualitative research and quantitative research methods, such as literature research, observation,interviews, and statistical analysis, and so on.Teaching model based on network makes the course more interesting. Online course enables more students to participate in classroom activities and classroom interaction. Using network-based teaching mode in the teaching of English, more students are willing to communicate in English, so as to enhance the enthusiasm of learning English. Higher motivation brings the students’ motivation to learn and students’ learning abilities and learning are also improved.From classroom observation, student feedback and verbal test scores showed students willing to participate in classroom activities, a student feedback and verbal test scores showed students willing to participate in classroom activities, and theymake the best use of classroom time practicing spoken English. Compared with the traditional classroom, students in the experimental group had higher levels of participation, higher engagement for students with more learning opportunities and contact opportunities to receive high scores in listening and speaking.Experiential teaching model based on network is a new pattern of teaching,which changes the malpractice of traditional teaching mode and also injects fresh blood into the teaching. In the class, the teachers are facing higher requirements.Research also shows that networks-based experiential teaching method plays a positive role in promoting students’ learning. It also means teachers’ teaching model affects the teaching effect of the online course.
