Ethnic minority areas in the development of ethnic school sports has a unique advantage, they have a long history of national traditional sports culture, but the situation is not optimistic. A lot of traditional sports culture and didn’t get the attention they deserve and inheritance. In this study to develop ethnic sports in the sports teaching as the breakthrough point, in-depth analysis of ethnic sports in school sports teaching, there exist the ethnic characteristics of the school extracurricular sports activities, its positive role, and in the process of carry out the problems and challenges. For minority schools provide theoretical arguments, improve the quality of physical education teaching in ethnic minority areas to develop ethnic sports sports work to provide the reference, to better promote national sports culture inheritance.This research in 300 and the school sports wulanhaote Mongolian primary school teachers as the research object, throughthe literature material law, questionnaire survey method and interview methodto the school after carried on the thorough investigation and analysis, the following conclusions: 1.
