New "environmental protection law" stipulated in article 6:all units and individuals shall have the obligation to protect the environment. The root of the environmental protection lies in the improvement of people’s environmental consciousness. Now the middle school students will be the master of the future, middle school students’ environmental awareness, their views on environmental issues, awareness of environmental protection, understanding of the environmental science are directly affect the country’s future. Education administrative departments, the schools should put environmental protection knowledge into school education, cultivate the students’ environmental protection consciousness.This article through to analysis the present situation of environmental problems, environmental awareness in junior high school students, guided by the related theory, mainly uses the experimental method and the methods of questionnaire investigation, to enhance the environmental awareness of the junior high school students in biological teaching practice research, the purpose is to improve the consciousness of junior high school students, especially the environmental behavior of middle school students, make students establish the concept of sustainable development, establish a positive attitude towards life and a healthy lifestyle.The paper consists of five parts:The first part:an introduction. Expounded in this paper, the research background, research purpose, research significance and research at home and abroad.The second part:summary of environmental consciousness and theoretical basis. Overview of the concept of environmental consciousness, emergence and development, and the theoretical basis of this study.The third part:strengthen students’ environmental awareness in biological teaching of research methods and research content. This topic mainly adopts the experimental method, interview method and use the questionnaire to test before and after the experiment. Study of junior high school biology textbooks, looking for a part of the chapters to infiltrate environmental consciousness, through class penetration, inquiry learning, the way such as seminar, using the method of experiment to environmental consciousness education of students. Discussion of enhance environmental awareness in junior high school students in biological teaching countermeasure, summarized suitable for biological discipline and the characteristics of junior high school students, the implementation of the environment consciousness education in biological teaching plan.The fourth part:enhance environmental awareness in junior high school biology teaching practice and research. In the full study of seventh grade biology textbooks, mining which could carry out environmental education, environmental awareness, on the basis of the content of the penetration of environment consciousness education in the experimental group, through the analysis of the results evaluation test in this study whether the desired purpose.The fifth part:conclusion and suggestion. This paper proves that the penetration in the junior high school biology teaching environmental awareness is feasible and effective. At the same time put forward in the biology teaching practice environment consciousness education of preliminary countermeasures and solutions.
