Classical Chinese reading teaching plays an important part in Chinese teaching in senior high school, which aims to improve the students’ cultural knowledge accomplishment, enhance students’ culture, and inherit the national spirit, as well as set up the personality of students. However, in the actual teaching process, the effect on national spirit inheritance is not too optimistic, and needs hardworking. From the teaching goal to the language teaching material, even to Chinese teachers, a good national spirit inheritance system has not been formed. Based on this situation, the author will make it as a research content on National Spirit Inheritance in Senior High School Classical Chinese Reading Teaching, whose purpose is not only to cause the attention of high school teachers, but also expect to find the feasible method in classical Chinese reading teaching in high school, and offer an practicable approach to the national spirit inheriting for the general education workers.In this paper, the required PEP Chinese textbook of senior high school will be exemplified, which is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduction contains topic selection significance, the key word definition, research status summery, research methods and innovation. The second chapter based on the required PEP Chinese textbook of senior high school, analyses the content of the high school writings in classical style national spirit form and its form of expression, in this part, national spirit can be divided into the "personal spirit", "family spirit", "national spirit", "spirit of the world" respectively. The third chapter is carried on with the interview and questionnaire survey, and analyzes the present situation and reason of the national spirit and inheritance in high school writings in classical style teaching. The fourth chapter basically establishes the ideas, principles and methods of national spirit heritage in the high school writings in classical style teaching. The fifth chapter is a focus in the study of this article, and this part mainly aims at the analysis of the first four chapters, discusses the dominant strategy in the high school writings in classical style, which contains six aspects: based on spiritual heritage, focusing on the teaching goal; Balanced four kinds of content, rebuild selection system; Read the ancient classics, improve teachers’ quality; Transfer the existing spirit, integrating the teaching content; The four-dimensional alternate, create the teaching situation; Deepen the practical significance. The study of the content which aims at the national spirit of classical Chinese reading teaching in high school has played a guiding role.
