Classical C hinese is an important part of C hinese language textbooks for middle schools, key is in Chinese teaching. And in many of the writings in classical style, a part of prose particularly compelling, it seems the orchids in the valley, natural and elegant, fragrant, give a person a kind of beauty to enjoy, that travels prose. Under the big background of the quality education under the new curriculum, how will the beauty of the classical C hinese prose in mining, to still examinat ion oriented education as the center of the school and students bring different teaching experience, became the problem that need to solve in the C hinese teaching.Travels in secondary school textbooks are mainly distributed in junior high school textbooks, and are all masterpieces. While the junior high school students’ physical and mental development was significantly higher than that in primary school, but did not reach the high mature stage, we must grasp the special physical and mental development period, and explore suitable for students learning method. The travel notes prose is full of the beauty of words, the structure of beauty, beauty of artistic conception, but also has a unique natural beauty and personality beauty and philosophy of beauty. These "beauty" is conducive to cultivate students’ sentiment, improve the students’ language expression ability and logical thinking ability, so as to promote students’ multiple intelligence development, let the students from the boring learning get a hint of beauty to enjoy, enrich the daily study and life.In the high school textbooks, ancient travels in classical C hinese in a large proportion, and through the survey we found that, in Shandong province in recent years, the college entrance examination, extracurricular reading the classical C hinese often used this kind of article is analyzed, the C hinese pay more attention to travel prose teaching method. At present, for this kind of prose. Teaching, mostly focuses on the word analysis, to understand the effect on the level, not the aesthetic significance of travels prose as a major teaching content. In addition, for the study of ancient travel aesthetic teaching are relatively scattered, research results are obviously small in ancient poetry teaching research and other reading, writing and so on. The aesthetic teaching development travels prose as we need the direction.In this paper, enacted in 2003 "ordinary high school language curriculum standard(Experiment)" mentioned in the "aesthetic experience" as the guiding ideology, starting from the characteristics of physical and mental development of students, expounds the importance and strategy of development of aesthetic education in ancient travels. At the same time, the Development Zone of Yantai C ity Experimental Middle School in Shandong Province as a survey of teachers and students the object, introduce the relevant questionnaire and the system of statistical data, to understand the new situation of the journey to the aesthetic teaching from two aspects of teachers and students. Through the investigation, found the problems in the process of teaching and the necessity of aesthetic education. From the perspective of teaching methods, the perfect aesthetic teaching suggestions the students can expec t, in the classical C hinese teaching in middle school in the journey to improve performance and sense of beauty.
