Mathematics "task-based learning" is a new teaching content of new curriculum in mathematics, but also a new way of learning. It can stimulate students’ learning interest and develop students’ thinking. Therefore, it is very meaningful to study the teaching. Through the investigation and interview of teachers and students, this study is to understand and analyze the teaching situation of "task-based learning", and further find the existing problems in the actual teaching. Based on this fact, first of all, this topic will sort out and analyze the theoretical knowledge related to mathematics, and find out how to organize and implement the teaching principle and operation process of "task-based learning". Secondly, the "task-based learning" will be explained and analyzed by combining with the subject study of a specific case "pattern design". Finally, it is summarized and reflected.This article mainly has carried on the discussion from the following several aspects:Firstly, according to the new curriculum reform of mathematics "task based learning" requirements, the current development status and research status of project learning, this study presents the research problems to be solved, and find out the research methods to solve these problems.Secondly, combined with the research of mathematics "task-based learning", elaborates the connotation、characteristics and type of mathematics "task based learning",and according to the corresponding teaching contents in the textbooks are analyzed. Recognize the subject learning teaching value. It can stimulate students’ interest in learning mathematics, change the students’ learning methods, penetrate the students’ mathematical thinking, improve the comprehensive development of students’ abilities. On this basis, from the teaching material distribution, the teaching content, the design intention and the study way, the content of mathematics "task-based learning" in the teaching materials of junior high school is carried on the collection and analysis.Thirdly, according to the survey and interviews of junior high school mathematics teachers and some students and the analysis of the interviews and survey results, there are still some problems in the teaching situation of "task based learning". Teachers don’t know what is mathematics "task based learning"; understanding of the characteristics and types of the subject learning is not deep enough; and the value of mathematics "task based learning" is not understood, neglect of mathematics "project learning" teaching design, etc.Based on the related theory analysis of the mathematical "project learning" and the problems existing in the investigation and interview, this paper puts forward that teachers should follow the teaching principles in the teaching of mathematics "task-based learning" with constant practice in the teaching practice and reflection.. Based on that, this paper puts forward the teaching process of guiding teachers to learn mathematics, and makes practical exploration. Then on the basis of the theory of the subject learning, following the teaching principle and process of the "ask-based learning", as well as selecting the "pattern design" in the teaching material as the empirical research and analysis, these will provide a reference for the better implementation of mathematics "ask-based learning" teaching.Finally, "Project learning" teaching practice of mathematics research is summarized and prospected.
