The Investigation And Research On The Development Of Amateur Basketball Clubs In Hunan Province In 2013-2015

With Ming Yao, Jianlian Yi, Yue Sun, Jeremy Shuhao Lin and other Chinese players take parts in NBA, the American basketball game NBA has enjoyed his super-popularity in China. The number of basketball fans has risen rapidly, and furthermore, Chinese Basketball Association has drawn unexpected attention. Beginning with only 8 teams national wide, it has developed up to 20 teams with strong future prospective. Basketball has become one of the most exciting sports in China. At the same time, with the escalation of the consumption structure, people has more demand regarding leisure, fitness and exercise. However, the current public resource in terms of leisure and fitness in China cannot meet this increasing demand. Even though the basketball clubs in local communities, it has partially resolve the issue of the insufficient public resource,there are still problems inherent in the long-term development of basketball in China.This essay targets the current scenario of local basketball clubs which are started around 2013 to 2015, in Hunan Province. It collects 20 clubs in local cities and counties as the investigative sample. The essay applies librarian research, specialist interview, logic analysis,questionnaire, and statistics in terms of methodologies. In the essay, we discuss about the internal and external factors which are impacting the sustainable development of local basketball club, and we aim to provide effective suggestions accordingly.The results were as follows:(1)constraints: subjective(organizational culture,coaches and management personnel, funds, the number of players),objective(venues and facilities management mechanism with the government), and other(cultural level and social environment, etc.).(2)Training system need scientific professional coaches,so we should improve the mechanism for selecting the coaches and constantly update their professional knowledge, while building feedback mechanism to evaluate the coaches of capacity.(3)lack of funds severely affected the operation and development of the club, you can actively explore various channels to raise funds, the use of some of the news media,step up publicity efforts to seek cooperation corporate sponsors, relying on it as a business entity, guarantee daily operation.(4)you can strengthen communication with the education sector for the lack of venues, while optimizing the limited resources of basketball court and abundant form in basketball.(5)the organizational structure of amateur basketball clubs in Hunan Province are incompleteness, the operational mechanism of management needs to be improved, should be established club personnel, finance and competition and a series of management rules and regulations, strengthen supervision.(6)In terms of external support, the government should simplify the cumbersome procedures of various registration,cancel unreasonable approval, establish the of special funding for sports.
