| Higher vocational education is not only the internal demand of personal development, but also a powerful driving force to support the development of social economy. With the rapid development of science and technology, China’s demand for advanced talents is also increasing, the new situation in the development of higher vocational education has brought new challenges, but also created a good opportunity for development. Throughout the historical process, the healthy development of Higher Vocational Education in our country can not be separated from the support and guidance of the national policy. Therefore, in order to promote the development of Higher Vocational Education in our country, it is necessary to study the policy of higher vocational education.Since 1990 s, the development of China’s higher vocational education policy has made some progress, but problems and deficiencies are still exist. Based on literature analysis and historical research method, this paper in clarifying the foundation of our country higher vocational education policy development clue, from the development background, main contents, the policy process and other aspects of comprehensive comparison the different policies of China and the United States of higher vocational education, to analyze the problems existing in China’s higher vocational education development, explore and improve the policy system of Higher Vocational Education in China’s specific measures.Overall, the study has four parts: the introduction part clarifies the research background and value, current situation and ideas, methods and key concepts.The next part analyzed the development process of US higher vocational education policy. The third part is about the policy environment, policy content and policy process of the four aspects of China’s enlightenment.Finally,through the comparison of the current situation of China’s higher vocational education policy development, combined with the United States experience to improve the recommendations of the fourth part. |
