Now, China is developing the primary and secondary school curriculum reform movement vigorously at the same time, STEM education research and reform has raised a wave after wave in the United States, which is the key of the reform of American basic education. STEM education refers to the integrated education of science, technology, engineering and mathematics four subjects. During the STEM education reform process, a very important link is reform of the STEM teachers. Thus, this article mainly introduces the way of STEM teachers’ the cultivation in teacher’s education policies. There are five sections in this article: The first part explains the cause of this research papers, and the content of the related research for domestic finishing and review in this paper. The second part points out several important policies that are associated with the topic of research, and then introduces the content of them simply. The from all walks of life is very concern about STEM education teacher training.In order to ensure that STEM education progress goes effectively, the federal government need to enact key files to show attitude and determination in improving STEM teaching. These policies are of greatsignificance to the development of STEM teachers. In the third part introduces the content of the STEM teacher training of policy text, including the current status of the STEM teachers,way of STEM teachers’ pre-service training and in-service teachers’ professional development. The fourth part summarizes the characteristics of the American policy of STEM teachers. The United States has developed STEM education reform for many years, and they pay more and more attention to STEM teachers and their attitude is clear increasingly.for example,the task that projects are responsible for is becoming increasingly clear, the money spending on training teachers is more. It can be seen that the federal government’ support and scope is greater and greater, and strengthen the growth of STEM teachers’ professionalization from all the aspects, and attaches great importance to the coordination of the whole social cooperation. The fifth part introduces enlightenment and lessons brings to our country elementary education reform from the American STEM education teacher policies.
