The Research Of The Content Of British History In High School Compulsory Course

As a original type modern country, the British was the first to complete the bourgeois revolution, first took to the road to industrialization and became the first modernized country in the world. Today, the international status of the British has enormously changed, but its effect to the world is still significant. Therefore,researching on the content of British history in high school compulsory course,not only has the history teaching value, but also has practical significance.This paper bases on the high school history course standard and people’s version of history textbook, refers to the mainstream of the British history research results to research the content of the British history for high school history courses more in-depth,Based on this, the author will advance some teaching suggestions.The article is divided into four parts: The first chapter is the introduction part includes selected topic research value, research status and research methods and ideas;The second chapter detailed combed the course standard and the British history content in people’s version of the required textbook, analyzes the teaching requirements and writing characteristics of the history of British. Chapter 3 collects and organizes the mainstream researching results of the history of British politics,economy, culture, and combines the results of this study with the British history with the textbook content.On the basis of the former three chapters, the fourth chapter put forward some suggestions on the British history teaching of high school compulsory course.In this paper, the biggest bright spot is the close combination of the British history of historiography research results and the textbook content.However, because of the limitation of subjective and objective conditions for the British history research,there are still some omissions, please experts and first-line teachers to be added.
