With the rapid development of global economy, increasing international education upsurge, study in younger age, international comparison research has become a hot topic in today’s education research. Given and a large number of international mathematics closely linked and its extensive application, the Chinese and foreign comparative study on the mathematics curriculum is a worthy of further exploration areas. I taught in Yichang No.l Senior High School international undergraduate course graduation, the content of the professor is the introduction of international examination committee of Cambridge A-level courses. Through more than three years of teaching and research, I have been familiar with the British A-level mathematics course. That is why I choose to do comparative study in the high school mathematics curriculum.The research of this article is the comparison of the high school mathematics curriculum about vector part, the object of study for domestic ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook taught mathematics required A version 4 & elective 2-1 and British A-level course Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) code 9709 pure mathematics 1 & 3, mainly used the literature analysis method, comparison method, experimental method and interview method to complete the study in this paper. CIE has introduced plane vector content in junior middle school stage, high school for further study of space vector, vector and integrated application of straight line and plane, the ordinary high school vector can be divided into two plates, plane vector and space vector respectively presents the concept of vector, the number of algebraic operations, vector product, etc. Curriculum knowledge materials directly influences the content is different, the difference of depth and breadth, from the time the course, course breadth and depth of the comprehensive comparison of the three dimensions of the difficulty of the vector class. Extract vector chapter review questions as comparison sample problem sets, from the inquisition, background, operations, reasons and knowledge levels, five factors of Sino-British comprehensive high school math vector exercises difficult made a comparative analysis. Combined with the education teaching practice, briefly introduce the British CIE 9709 combination mathematics curriculum system, curriculum and examination mechanism,the main characteristic of state vector A-level mathematics teaching, compared the similarities and differences between the former and domestic teaching mode.By comparing the Chinese and British high school math vector in the content, the requirements of teaching outline, the distribution of knowledge structure, vector representation, curriculum difficulty of comprehensive, examples and exercises, and review the test and evaluation way, I found that high school curriculum and evaluation system of the similarities and differences between the two countries, on the basis of comparative analysis of the causes of the formation of differences, find out the high school mathematics curriculum in our country and the UK A-level part of high school mathematics curriculum is worthy of reference and draw lessons from, in order to gain enlightenment, the two countries of mathematics curriculum reform put forward some personal Suggestions for theory reference.
