Since China began to implement the new curriculum reform, music has become a compulsory course for junior middle school students. Junior high school stage of music education in the basic knowledge of music to the student training, to improve students’ music appreciation ability and train students’ positive aesthetic conception and the physical and mental health development plays an important role. However, based on a greater difference between the urban and rural social and economic conditions in China, henan province in various cities and counties in urban and rural high school music education gap is larger, the current situation of the urban and rural junior high school students to learn music presents some significant differences.This research on henan luohe region, city and county six junior high school, for example, for junior high school students from urban and rural music study present situation investigation and comparison research, understand the different cultural background of the education, class inside and outside the music study background, urban and rural behavior and attitude of students to learn music. Analysis the reason of the difference between urban and rural junior middle school students which affect the current situation of the different music learning factors, and attempts to put forward to promote urban and rural junior high school music education balanced Suggestions and countermeasures, so as to the relevant departments to further implement quality-oriented education fairness between urban and rural areas, reduce the gap between urban and rural education to provide effective information, to improve urban and rural junior high school of different music education present situation, the targeted guide junior middle school students to learn music. This thesis research mainly by questionnaire, interview, comparative analysis and other methods to investigate the school teachers, students, parents and schools for a variety of data collection, combined with field investigation, through scientific and specific information processing, comprehensive comparison, the reasonable inductive problem involved, finally summed up the differences in several aspects:the industrial civilization, education and cultural background in city and rural small differences in cultural background; Second, the city class inside and outside the learning environment of teachers, classes, textbooks and overall good equipment in the countryside; Three, urban and rural students learning behavior and attitude of music presents different characteristics. In the above based on the analysis of the status quo, the author of how to improve the present situation of urban and rural junior middle school students music learning luohe, with some thinking and exploration. One, build up the idea of education fair; Second, perfect the system, to establish open and fair system and policy; Third, improve the music teacher position, to strengthen the construction of teaching staff; Fourth, improve the rural music class status; Fifth, adjust measures to local conditions to develop music classroom resources.
