In today’s social life each corner is filled with different types of images, people have entered the "reading age".Geography image has become a major feature of geography due to its characteristics that can highlight geographic knowledge, record the characteristics of geographical process.And as one of the three systems in geography textbook, it plays an important proportion. It is a very important task to make full use of geographic image, and develop the value of them maximize, What’s more, The development level of high and low limits the geography teaching effect in middle school. The paper rely on PEP geography textbook image system,aim to do a survey of the geography textbook image system’s application by students and teachers in high school, via questionnaire, teachers’ interview etc.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduce the research background, purpose,meaning, research status,contents and methods.
