Research On The Campus Website Construction Of Higher Physical Education Universities Based On The Mass Media

Higher physical education universities, as an essential part of our higher education, play a vital role in information construction. They undertake many necessary tasks like developing physical education, fostering sports talents, enhancing scientific research level and achieving diversification of physical education. Meanwhile, they bear responsibilities of publicizing sports culture, serving ordinary people, initiating mass sports and promoting prosperity and development.Based on the above, this essay chooses 14 campus websites as research basic-point from higher physical education universities, trying to make a combination between design requirements and audiences’ needs in term of mass communication perspective. Meanwhile, it is necessary to do some pre-analyses and pre-researches, seek out the existing problems and put forward some specific suggestions with construction ideas from advanced websites. Only in this way, can it provide gist for improving and developing the websites from higher physical education universities, and enhance the quality and quantity that the website spread, which make audience gain benefits.This essay is based on documents, questionnaire methods, logical analyses, comparative analyses and Mathematical statistics method to analyze and research 14 campus websites of higher physical education universities.The results are as follows:1. 14 higher physical education universities in China have established their campus websites. The information PV(page view), however, is not so high.2. 14 higher physical education universities in China spread information generally via words and pictures instead of audios and videos. As for web’s content, it focuses more on campus publicity and education quality. With a slow pace of updating, the form of contents is plain.3. 14 higher physical education universities in China do very well in terms of format design, color form, words arrangement and usage of pictures. While the webs’ own characteristics are not obvious compared to other types of higher education universities.4. The functional development of 14 higher physical education universities in China is not improving fully, and partial functions of websites don’t make full use.
