Objectives1 To investigate the state and influence factors of nursing clinica 1 teacher’s teaching competence in Chongqing.2 To establish clinical nursing teacher training framework initiall y.3 To build clinical nursing teacher training indicators. Methods1 330 nursing clinical teachers in teaching hospitals of a medica 1 university in Chongqing and 315 students in a medical university i n Chongqing were involved in questionnaire survey. Two independent samples t test was used to detect the differences of evaluation about teaching competence between the teachers and students, single factor variance analysis, independent sample t-test and multiple linear regres sion analysis were used to detect the influence factors of teaching co mpetence.2 Clinical nursing teachers and clinical nursing teaching manager s who were from Chongqing medical university and practice bases w ere conducted semi-structured interviews. Based on principles of infor mation saturation,12 interviewees were determined ultimately. With d eep analysis of interviews, major needs of clinical nursing teacher tra ining were proposed.3 Through Delphi method,22 nursing education or nursing man agement experts who were from chongqing, xian, henan, hebei and ji angxiand, after two rounds, the clinical nursing teachers training indi cators were built, weight assignment were calculated by the optimal sequence diagram method.Results1 The score of teaching competence marked by clinical teachers and students were 2.83±0.90、2.77±0.90 respectively,which were no st atistically significant difference(p>0.05). Four dimensions score from hi gh to low were teaching basic quality, teaching contents, teaching me thods and teaching attitudes, the main influence factors of nursing cli nical teacher’s teaching competence were training experience and teac hing experience.2 After analysis the results of the interviews and classification, Our study established clinical nursing teachers training,which includin g in basic training and improving training. The former included in ed ucation theory, basic skills of clinical nursing teaching, clinical teachi ng standards and requirements, the latter included in clinical nursing t eaching management, clinical nursing teaching new skills, clinical nur sing teaching research, clinical nursing skills.3 After two rounds, the clinical nursing teachers training indicato rs were built and weight assignment were calculated. Basic training i ncluded in three first grade indicators and ten second indicators. Dev eloping training included in four first grade indicators and ten second grade indicators. Effective recovery rates were 92.00% and 95.65% r espectively of the questionnaire after two rounds, experts coefficients were above 0.9, there were statistically significant difference between the coordination coefficient (p< 0.05, p< 0.01).Conclusions1 Because the teaching competence of clinical nursing teachers were middle level,teaching basic quality, teaching contents, teaching methods were sick. Considering training experience and teaching expe rience clinical, clear hierarchy and highly targeted nursing teachers tr aining could be organized.2 The clinical nursing teacher training framework could be establ ished initially so as to cultivate basic teaching competence for young teachers and develop academic level, specialized level, teaching skill and management competence for elder teachers.3 The clinical nursing teacher training indicators could be built, among it,clinical nursing teaching skill is the key to basic training, cl inical nursing teaching skill,nursing skill,clinical nursing teaching scie ntific research and management are major training contents, which co uld enhance nursing clinical teacher’s overall teaching competence a nd guide to clinical nursing teachers training.
