The current PEP edition of Chinese teachers’ teaching book is written by the curriculum and teaching materials research and middle school Chinese teaching material research and development center,published by people’s education press, and "compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook of language"(7 ~ 9 grade)supporting the use of Teachers’ teaching book. Although it appears as a subsidiary of Chinese textbooks, it plays an indispensable role in the practical teaching of teachers. It is an important guide book for the teaching activities of Chinese teachers.This paper mainly consists of five parts.The introduction and literature review mainly analyze the reasons and significance of this topic,as well as interpret and summarize the existing research results. The first chapter mainly discusses the status and role of the Chinese teachers’ books, as well as summarizes three different attitudes in the current academia, also briefly analyzes the using effect of the current teacher’s book in the actual teaching process.The second chapter mainly analyzes by three aspects, including the compiling concepts,main contents, and the forms of the arrangement. Regarding the unit description system, reading system and comprehensive learning, writing and oral communication system as the breakthrough point, this chapter emphatically analyzes thecharacteristics of the content of the books. The third chapter,which based on the analysis of the former ones, reflects some shortcomings of current teachers’ teaching books in practice and proposes some specific suggestions accordingly. The last part is the conclusion, which is the summary and explanation of the basic viewpoints of this paper.
